The Program
Four seasons. Four fields. One extraordinary year of discovery.
The Four Seasons
Each season is a 5-meeting journey: four learning meetings with women scientists, followed by THE UNSEEN — a final project presentation and closing ceremony.
Season 1
From Marie Curie's radioactivity to Chien-Shiung Wu's broken symmetry. The women who uncovered the invisible forces of nature.
Season 2
From Ada Lovelace's first algorithm to Katherine Johnson's orbital calculations. The women who wrote the invisible language of machines.
Season 3
From Elizabeth Blackwell's fight to practice to Tu Youyou's ancient cure. The women who saw the invisible patient.
Season 4
From Eunice Newton Foote's greenhouse discovery to Wangari Maathai's 51 million trees. The women who saw the invisible wounds of the Earth.
Programme Format
Inside a Session
Every session follows the same structure — simple, intentional, powerful:
The Story. Each session begins with the story of one woman and her discovery. Not a biography — a moment. The moment she saw something no one else could see.
The Experiment. Hands-on exploration connected to the discovery. Girls don't just learn about science — they do science.
The Reflection. Writing in the Scientist's Notebook. What did you notice? What surprised you? What question do you have now that you didn't have before?
The Rituals
GWCTW isn't just a program — it's a culture. These rituals create belonging, identity, and meaning.
Every member takes an oath at the beginning of their journey. It's a commitment to curiosity, to honesty in observation, and to the lineage of women scientists.
Enamel pin badges — one per season, in the season's color. Founding Members receive gold badges. These are earned, not given.
A branded Scientist's Notebook for the full season — from initiation to THE UNSEEN final. Observations, questions, sketches, ideas. The notebook is private — it belongs to her.
Every season ends with a project called "The Unseen" — each girl documents something she sees that others don't. Every project is archived and joins a growing global collection.
The Member Kit
Every member receives a kit that is theirs to keep — a physical connection to the movement.
Every member receives a unique identifier — a connection to the global GWCTW network.
Every project from every cohort around the world is documented and added to a global collection — The Unseen Archive. Your work becomes part of something larger.
